The sense of inadequacy: the only real obstacle to any form of relationship, even with oneself. Who in their life has never been permeated by it? That particular feeling of ‘feeling out of place’, different, sometimes wrong, judged, and often misunderstood.

We may feel as if in a fog or as if there is a veil or glass wall between us and the world around us. Often, this state stems from the desire to meet others' expectations. It is to feel the enormous weight of risk, fear failure and judgment, and see oneself as incapable, an impostor, a disappointment.

Starting from these feelings, Enrico Morelli presents a new work that aims to bring this state of alienation to the scene, taking inspiration not only from his personal experience but also from that of the performers, to whom he asks the same question that he asks himself: "When you feel inadequate and out of place, how do you feel?"
